Privacy Policy

1. Information we handle

• Game and platform information. The Game uses the Facebook Instant Games SDK. Depending on the platform configuration and available features, game-scoped player identifiers and gameplay information are used to support player sessions, progress and leaderboards. Names and avatars may be displayed through Meta-supported interfaces. Display within a Meta-controlled interface does not necessarily mean we receive or retain the underlying Facebook profile information.
• Game progress and preferences. Level scores, stars, hints, coins, unlocked levels and audio settings are saved locally using browser storage and synchronized using Facebook Instant Games storage. Local storage and Meta-hosted saves are separate copies of information.
• Support communications. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information you choose to provide, such as a game identifier or screenshot. Do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary identity documents.
• Policy website visits. This policy website is hosted using Netlify. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. This website itself includes no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. See Netlify's Privacy Statement for its practices.

We do not ask players to provide an email address, phone number, password, payment card information or precise location to play the Game. Information voluntarily supplied in a support request is handled as described above.

2. How information is used

We use information to operate the Game, save and restore progress, provide available leaderboard and reward features, remember preferences, troubleshoot problems, respond to support and privacy requests, and protect the Game against misuse. We do not sell, rent or trade player profile information.

3. Meta services and advertising

The Game uses Meta's Instant Games services for platform functionality and cloud saves, and Meta Audience Network for interstitial and rewarded advertising. Meta may process device and network information and ad interactions for purposes such as delivering and measuring advertisements, security and fraud prevention. The information Meta processes and the choices available to you are described in Meta's Privacy Policy.

Meta's platform and advertising systems may process usage information independently of any separate analytics tools installed by a game developer. Your Facebook privacy and advertising settings provide information about available controls.

4. Sharing and service providers

Game information is processed through Meta's platform services, local device storage and the services needed to handle support messages. Our policy website uses Netlify hosting. Leaderboard features can display the player information and scores supported by Meta's interfaces to other players. We may disclose information where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations or protect users, security and legal rights. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, as described in their policies.

5. Retention

Local progress remains in the relevant browser or app storage until it is cleared, reset or otherwise removed by the device or platform. Meta-hosted progress and leaderboard information are subject to the platform's storage and deletion mechanisms and are used to support ongoing gameplay. We do not promise a fixed deletion schedule for records managed independently by Meta.

We retain support correspondence and information under our control only for as long as needed to address the request, maintain necessary support records, or meet applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details. Information that must be retained for a legal obligation is limited to that purpose.

6. Data deletion instructions and privacy requests

You can request deletion of information associated with the Game by contacting us:

1. Email info@cluecraftstudios.cc with the subject Find Master Data Deletion Request.
2. Identify the Game and explain whether you want to delete saved progress, leaderboard information, support messages, or all information associated with your use of the Game. Include your game Player ID if you have it. If you cannot find it, tell us and we will help identify the information needed to locate your records.
3. We may request limited additional information to verify that the request relates to your records. We will respond without undue delay and within any period required by applicable law, explaining the action taken and any platform-controlled records or legal retention limits that affect the request.

We will delete information under our control when required and use available platform mechanisms for Game-related records. If a record is controlled independently by Meta, we will explain that limitation and direct you to the relevant Meta privacy tools. A request to us does not delete your Facebook account or all information held by Meta.

Local saves: Removing local game storage does not automatically delete cloud saves or leaderboard records. Clearing cached images and files alone may not remove saved progress. Contact us for help identifying the relevant browser or app storage; clearing unrelated Facebook storage is not necessary as a general deletion step. If cloud saves remain, progress may return when you reopen the Game.

Facebook app connections: If the Game appears in your Facebook Apps and Websites settings, you may remove its connection there. This is separate from requesting deletion and should not be treated as confirmation that every saved record has been erased.

You may also contact us to request access to or correction of information under our control, or to exercise other privacy rights available under applicable law. Depending on your location, these may include objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and a complaint to your local privacy authority.

7. Children's privacy

The Game is intended for people eligible to use Facebook under Meta's applicable age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under the applicable minimum age has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove information under our control.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle and rely on the security mechanisms of the platform services described above. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

9. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the Game, service providers or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
